This Now+Next Masterclass puts service design at the heart of the AI revolution.
Across four interactive online mornings, you’ll explore practical, engaging ways to use service design methods and AI tools.
Working in teams on challenges relevant to your organisation, you’ll build skills in insight, empathy, inclusivity, creativity, storytelling and leadership — all enhanced by AI.

/ How it will work
In 4 morning sessions, from 9-12.30, we will explore and engage with the tools and processes of service design. Working in teams with people who share similar challenges and opportunities, your will work through each phase from discovery to problem framing, creativity to pitching and implementation of a set challenge.
With talks, examples, advice and support from Anja and Clive, we will conclude with each team presenting their ideas followed by refection on the value and impact of what you have learnt.

Overview
Talks and practical exercises through each session. Work in teams of between 4 or 5 on a set challenge, developed from your input to a questionnaire sent to you before the workshop.
Day One: Introduction to Service Design
Introduction to service design, its purpose and central role, the core methods and tools, and the interaction between service design and AI. We aim to inspire you with a glimpse of the future of work and the role service design increasingly plays in post-AI organisations.
Day Two: How are we designing for?
The Core Tools: data and insight, research, mapping and analysis. Comprehensive AI-assisted deep dives into your customers, your processes and systems. Develop human first, AI empowered insight and data analysis techniques, identifying and prioritising pain points and opportunities.
Day Three: Creativity and the North Star
The Future possible – creativity as a tool for redesigning your thinking and prototyping the AI-Enabled Future. Developing concepts, envisioning target service experiences, prototyping and developing propositions with AI, and validating with your organisation and it's customers.
Day Four: Delivery and Presentations
Redesigning Thinking – taking your organisation on the journey to new organisational behaviour with service design as the tool for strategy and delivery. Your opportunity to empower your people and navigate to an AI enhanced organisation.
